Wires
Where does the mind begin, and where does it end? Where within my body, my cells, my nerves does the mind reside?
If the mind had muscles that could move, tense, and stop even for a moment, perhaps it wouldn’t be this chaotic. Again, the tail of my thoughts stretches endlessly, morphing me into a bear, a snake, and a gentle lamb, only for me to collapse in the middle of an unsolvable tangle, exhausted.
This drawing is my chaotic mind. The tangling of the wires and haphazard form invoke a sense of urgency and turmoil. I created this piece to visualize what it feels like to have your mind go a million miles a minute. To me, the overgrowth of the wires and the disorder they create express the unending overlap of thoughts and emotions.

The Witness of Time
Countless fleeting moments pass by. Like stars in the night sky, like blinding flashes of light, time silently and relentlessly moves past me. It wraps around me, steadily walking forward without rest. In its insufferable calmness, I cannot dare ask it to move faster or slower. Time remains silent, creating fossils and supernovas, and bringing forth new life without compromise.
This artwork is about the relationship between myself and how I perceive my life. I was inspired to create this piece after constantly feeling time fly by. The water in the background represents the fluidity of life and the uncertainty that the future holds. The waterdrops frozen in time reflect my desire to stop time and truly take in each moment as they unfold. We are all witnesses of time, each and every one of us. We all have unforgettable memories from the most ordinary to the most spectacular experiences we have endured. Therefore, I made it a must that the main subject was done in pencil. Giving off a black-and-white finish, the medium choice represents every individual’s history with life. In the end, I wanted my art to portray the beauty of being in the moment, of feeling a special experience, of witnessing the ticking of the world.

Fast Fashion Fabrication
This artwork is about the fast fashion industry and how it exploits workers and destroys the environment, all while contributing to an unequal balance of wealth. I used this drawing as an opportunity to advocate for people who continue to work hard yet stay trapped in cycles of unfair wages and harsh treatment. Fast Fashion Fabrication is my call to raise awareness about the harmful effects of mindless mass production on our world.
